Welcome to Saltprairie — a little corner where coastal breezes meet Midwest soil, and life unfolds one garden, one meal, and one heartfelt moment at a time. I’m Angie, coastal born and raised, navigating the heartland with a love for fresh food, blooming gardens, and quiet faith. Here, you’ll find stories and recipes inspired by salt air and prairie winds, all shared with a wink, a smile, and a touch of grace. Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and let’s savor this beautiful, imperfect life together.

The Weekend Garden & Tea Party ~ A New Link-Up Starting February 18th

February 15, 2022

Hello Friends! am so excited! For a while now I have been wanting to host a link-up but I just did not have the time. More specifically a weekend linkup about gardening and tea. Back when I started blogging in 2010, there used to be many linkups about these two topics, but then they disappeared, which was sad for me because I really enjoy these two topics.

I love gardening, and I love tea as much. Something about the intentionality of slowing down and being present in the moment, speaks to an intrinsic need within me. You just cannot hurry through gardening or tea service to full appreciate it. And I know I am not the only one who enjoys a good garden and tea gathering.

So starting this Friday, February 18th, we are kicking off the Weekend Garden & Tea Party, here at Darling Clementine. The link-up will run Friday through Sunday. I wanted to do it through the weekend, because weekends is my “blog reading” time. So I hope you will join me!

The guidelines are simple:

  • Share as many posts as you want, but posts topics must be about garden or tea related.

  • Visit other bloggers participating in the link-ups. That is the point of a link-up :)

  • Share the link-up with others. The more the merrier!

The link-up will open on Friday morning. I hope you join us for a fun time having tea in the garden! See you Friday!
