Welcome to Saltprairie — a little corner where coastal breezes meet Midwest soil, and life unfolds one garden, one meal, and one heartfelt moment at a time. I’m Angie, coastal born and raised, navigating the heartland with a love for fresh food, blooming gardens, and quiet faith. Here, you’ll find stories and recipes inspired by salt air and prairie winds, all shared with a wink, a smile, and a touch of grace. Pull up a chair, stay awhile, and let’s savor this beautiful, imperfect life together.

With Love, Meghan: A Joyful Return to the Art if Connection and Living Well

March 04, 2025

What a wonderful day! ‘With Love, Meghan’ has officially premiered on Netflix, and alongside it, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has launched her new lifestyle brand, As Ever! As someone who has loved Meghan since her The Tig days, this moment feels like a beautiful full-circle moment—only now, it’s even more refined, intentional, and deeply heartfelt.

Let’s talk about her Netflix series— ‘With Love, Meghan’ feels like stepping into a space where time slows down—a beautifully soothing and calming experience that allows you to truly appreciate life’s little joys. Let me be clear, this is a lifestyle series, not a cooking show, or gardening show. Meghan brings together all these aspects to create a wonderful experience for her audience. The handwritten notes, the small yet meaningful details that make friends and family feel special, the simple pleasure of baking a cake or indulging in a treat just because—it’s all about cherishing the people you love.

That is the message of this show— cherish the people you love.

For a little while, I forgot about the chaos of the world and simply felt present. I didn’t want to leave that space, and I know I’m not alone in that feeling. Whatever Meghan and her team have created, I hope they continue because we need more of this kind of warmth, thoughtfulness, and care.

We’ve heard before from friends that Meghan is a kind and thoughtful hostess, and that shines through in every episode. You can feel her heart in every detail, in every interaction—it’s inviting, genuine, and effortlessly elegant. And As Ever? With the first glimpses of the brand’s offerings, it’s clear that this next chapter is an extension of that same feeling. It carries the essence of The Tig, but with an elevated, refined touch, and I can already see how it will inspire people to embrace beauty in everyday moments. Even her newsletter carries that same quality and attention to detail.

But above all, what moved me the most was this: Meghan is thriving. With Love, Meghan isn’t just a show—it’s her way of letting the world know that she has stepped into this new season of life with joy, grace, and a renewed sense of purpose. And after everything she has been through, seeing her so at peace, so full of life, is truly heartwarming. I’m thrilled for her, hopeful for a second season, and grateful for the light she continues to share.
