Welcome to the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop! Hope you are all doing great! I am still feeling all the feelings from this past weekend’s Super Bowl halftime show — and y’all, what a moment! You can see my previous post for my thoughts on it. What started as anticipation turned into pure emotion, pride, and cultural joy as we watched Bad Bunny take the stage and own every second of those 13 minutes in a way that was both historic and deeply personal. From the moment the performance began — rooted in imagery of sugar cane fields, domino games, piragua stands, and the vibrant energy of Puerto Rican life — it was clear that this wasn’t just entertainment. This was storytelling. This was history. This was Puerto Rico on the world’s biggest stage.
It was more than a performance. It was a declaration that we take space, we matter, and we bring beauty and history with us wherever we go. Whether through the powerful visuals, the cultural symbols woven throughout the set, or the sheer joy of watching a community’s voice front and center at one of the most-watched stages on earth, this halftime show gave us something to hold close.
